Restaurants

Follow your State's new workplace safety guidelines with at-home employee symptom screening, at a glance employee health monitoring, guest logging, and automated exposure notifications based on contact tracing.

CB's Pizzeria

CB's Pizzeria is a small, independent pizza restaurant located in a suburb of Chicago. The establishment has been making wood-fired pizza since the '80s and is now a local tourist destination for pizza enthusiasts.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CB's is having a hard time serving its community with the new manual overhead workplace safety guidelines. Tracking employees' health, keeping a guest log, and processing contact tracing data mining events can take hours away from growing their business.

Lorenzo Romano

Owner of CB's Pizzeria

Report Symptoms and Body Temperature

Before Lorenzo goes to CB's to open up the restaurant, he checks his body temperature and gauges his overall health.

He then logs in to the Tracelinks, reports his body temperature, and responds to the symptom screening questionnaire. This confidential medical data is then stored on a secure database so other employees can't see. After 14 days the data is deleted.

Submit Cough Audio

Lorenzo navigates to Tracelinks' cough scan feature and records an audio sample of his cough. The audio sample is then analyzed using Swaasa's machine learning algorithm to gauge health risk, measure the severity of the cough and determine the type of cough (wet or dry).

Check In

Once Lorenzo arrives at CB’s, he puts his face mask on and checks in to the workplace on Tracelinks.

Guest Logging

While he is at CB’s, Lorenzo communicates the new restaurant safety policies to customers and check them in using the Tracelinks Guest feature. Customer data is encrypted and stored on a secure database and will be deleted after 14 days.

Health Monitoring

As the designated health risk coordinator, Lorenzo periodically logs in to Tracelinks to view his employee and customer dashboards. Leveraging the data shared by his workforce and customers, he has a solid understanding of their health risk and their compliance with workplace safety policies.

Contact Tracing

Lorenzo is informed that Kevin, a recent CB's customer, tested positive for COVID-19. Rather than manually going through hundreds of employee or guest records to determine potential exposures and then contacting each exposed individual one-by-one, Lorenzo uses Tracelinks' Trace feature to conduct automated contact tracing.

To begin the process, Lorenzo searches for Kevin. The search returns a list of first degree contacts, including Lorenzo, that were present in CB’s at the same time as Kevin. After reviewing the list, Lorenzo sends out exposure notifications to every individual on the list with the click of a button.

Lorenzo reviews his State's CDC guidance for the next steps regarding himself and employees.

Alyssa

Waitress at CB's Pizzeria

Report Symptoms and Body Temperature

Before Alyssa begins her shift at CB's, she checks her body temperature and gauges her overall health.

She then logs in to the Tracelinks Monitor app, reports her body temperature, and responds to the symptom screening questionnaire.

Check In

When entering CB's, Alyssa puts her face mask on and checks in to the workplace on Tracelinks.

Check Out

When her shift ends and she is leaving CB's, Sarah checks out of the workplace on Tracelinks.

Contact Tracing

Alyssa receives an email from Tracelinks informing her that she was exposed to an infected individual.

She contacts her employer to discuss next step options regarding her State's CDC guidance.

Kevin

Customer of CB's Pizzeria

Check In - Guest

Kevin decides to visit his favorite wood-fired pizzeria, CB’s.

When he arrives at CB’s, Kevin is informed of the restaurant's new safety policies and is asked for his contact information. Once Kevin provides his full name, email address, and phone number to Lorenzo, he is seated and enjoys his meal.

Infection Report to CB's Pizzeria

Feeling ill, Kevin gets tested for COVID-19 and the test comes back positive.

Kevin remembers his visit to CB's Pizzeria and contacts the restaurant to inform them of his positive test result.
